I was asked to paint a hubcap for a Landfill project in Pa; so I did. I decided to get hold of another hubcap to paint for the Merritt Parkway Series and I found a great one from an auto parts store down in Norwalk, Ct. This was a challenging, but satisfying piece to work on. It is a little bit unusual and many people have enjoyed looking at it; it won an award at the Silvermine Guild Art Center this summer, 7/09.
